garden greeter Garden greeters are our voice for the Garden and perform such functions as answering the phone, greeting visitors, preparing mailings, and assisting the Executive Director. |
programs & events As needed. The Botanical Garden has many educational programs and scheduled events (Annual plant sale, Daylily Festival & Scarecrow Festival) throughout the year. |
catering help Catering volunteers usually assist in setting up tables & chairs, decorations, etc., as well as preparation of food and beverages in our on-site kitchen and serving, and cleaning up after the event. |
adopt-A-spot any local Individuals or organizations that adopt a spot (any designated garden or spot) maintains their area throughout the year. This usually requires at least twice a month maintenance . |
Instructors who have knowledge of specific fauna and flora are encouraged to volunteer time to support our educational programs. Also, extra help is always needed in preparing for a major weekend event.
