Did you know The Garden is registered Daylily Display Garden with the American Hemerocallis Society (AHS)? We pride ourselves on our Daylilies and our very own dayliliy hybridizing expert, Dr. William Tyler. Through the process of hybridization, new daylily cultivars (or types of flowers) are born. These new cultivars exhibit new colors, shapes and sizes and add to the beautiful diversity of the daylily family! There are currently more than 80,000 such cultivars registered with the AHS.
