(formerly, the Walk & Talk series)

​This very popular program has a new name, but still includes special presentations on various topics over the business lunch time, 11:30 AM (sharp) to 12:30 PM, at The Garden Gazebo. Lunch is prepared by The Chefs of The Garden and there is also time afterwards for those who wish to take a guided walk through our grounds. Reservations required. Please review our schedule below.

​“Healthy, Happy Me Jamboree: Mind & Body, Folk Art & Fall Gardening"

This lunch series typically involves lunch while you listen to a guest speaker. For August, we are offering a Happy, Healthy Me Jamboree and the experience is a little more interactive! The format will be a lot different and contain multiple representatives who will speak or demonstrate about their craft. Each guest speaker will have a station located in The Garden. It is hoped that you visit each station and spend about 10 minutes there. You will then rotate to the next station and enjoy another informative demo or talk. This format allows for maximum learning experience and encourages social distancing.
Stations throughout The Garden will include:
Yoga- both Hatha & Vinyasa demonstration with Wayne Pickrell & Julie Moore
Ideas with Herbs- Rebecca Eggers
Fall Gardening- Paul Puckett
Folk Art- Steve Meadows
Andrew Keller of Gene’s Health Food will provide lunch choice of Brisket Grilled Cheese or Smoked Salmon Tacos

​“Falling Close To The Apple Tree" with Candance Castlen Brake

Falling Close to the Apple Tree- We will gather out near the Gazebo and maintain social distance. A boxed lunch will be provided and you can choose to dine while our special guest shares with us about her path, both career and personal. The Falling Close to the Apple Tree is titled to represent the life lessons that Candance may have learned from her father and how those lessons guided her career.
