The activities such as the service project at the Botanical Garden
was a unique experience that I had never really gotten to have.
Sure, we just pulled weeds from a Daylily Garden, but walking around
and seeing how nice and beautiful the flowers were made me think
that being a hundred miles from where I call home would be

In a time when we are always "connected" but often don't connect, The Garden provides a tranquil opportunity to tune into nature and turn towards each other. Took my Mom to the Lilly festival and Balloons over the Garden event! What a beautiful place and event! We both had a wonderful evening and it is so nice to have such a gorgeous place right here in Owensboro. Thanks to all the volunteers that keep the gardens so nice. We will be back!

We visited your garden on a chilly day in April. It was our first time visiting Kentucky and thoroughly enjoyed your garden as one of the highlights. We could envision how it would look once your weather warmed up. However, the sculptures provided entertainment that made up for the lack of flowers. We live in California, so cannot volunteer, but would love to if we were closer!
